This episode is about a visit to Sunten Electric Company. Glenda realizes that in order to have good business in China, you will have to find/read up more about China, take advantage of the abundant labor in China, having good relationships and networking skills and try not to offend others (give ‘face’).
Some of the problems faced by Sunten are the increase in price of raw materials, competitors, cashflow difficulties and employees (The employment of foreigners help broaden relationships for the company.). Sunten resolve their problems by finding good partners, learning more about the Chinese culture and their rules and regulations and employing foreigners.
