Briefing by Mr Jeremy Mun from Plants Operation Department

This episode, the students visit a high-tech factory- Aztech. As always, the students are given a briefing and then a tour around Aztech. The scene then warms up with the introduction of fellow country man Mr Jeremy Mun who works in Aztech. During the briefing, questions were raised and well answered by Mr Mun. Glenda realizes that due to the low cost of operation, well established infrastructure and short distances to seaports are the few reasons that attract investors to invest in Aztech. The recruitment of employees to come China to work is actually a challenge for Aztech, therefore Aztech tries to provide good employee benefits and welfare such as hostels, basketball courts, canteen, karaoke room etc. Glenda also realizes that in order for a company to succeed, a determined CEO is needed to lead the way, the importance of government support and the ability to distinguish ‘good’ and ‘bad’ customers.
